Kilifi,MOMBASA: Hundreds of mourners turned up to bid farewell to Mrs. Beatrice Chao Kakinda, mother of Baraka Fm’s presenter Roselyn Mnyazi Kakinda who was laid to rest in Kilifi County.
Mrs. Chao Kakinda, who would have turned 61 today(Saturday), was buried at her Silala home in Chonyi.
Mnyazi Kakinda presents mziki mzuka and popular bango show mdobwedo reloaded.
Her mother succumbed to illness at Saayida Fatma hospital two weeks ago while undergoing treatment.
Baraka fm staff, fans and Mombasa based journalists were among the hundreds of mourners who thronged Silala village to condole with their colleague.
The late Mrs. Chao Kakinda leaves behind seven children.
