Kenya stagnates in FIFA Rankings

Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya’s Harambee Stars has remained in position 106 globally, the position it held in December according to the latest Fifa rankings released by world football governing body on Thursday.

Kenya did not take part in any active football last month having squandered the opportunity to host the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

This however did not affect her Rankings in the East African region CECAFA where it remains second behind neighbors Uganda who have dropped five places to position 78 globally.

Tunisia retained the top spot in the continent followed by Senegal with DR Congo climbing third after a massive rise of four places to rank 39th.

Top five globally is unchanged with World reigning champions Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium retaining the first five slots respectively.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 15 March 2018.
