Toronto,CANADA,Self proclaimed National resistance movement general Miguna Miguna has urged his supporters to stand up against the Jubilee government.
Miguna who was speaking from in a video message live from Canada also urged his supporters in the diaspora continue with protest.
“A message to patriots, comrades and friends of Kenya currently demonstrating in the cold in NewYork and many capitals of the world,viva, continue the struggle against the despots against the illegitimate use of power, we must win, surrender is not an option” Miguna said.
Miguna was deported by the directorate of immigration on Tuesday after appearing at the Kajiado Magistrates court where he was charged with organization of unlawful assembly, engaging in organized criminal activity, and being present and consenting to the administration of an oath where he refused to take plea saying he was supposed to be arraigned at the Milimani law courts.
Judge Luka Kimaru had later ordered him released but on Wednesday,Kenya woke up to the news that Miguna had been deported to Canada.
On Friday,the directorate of immigration Rtd Major general Gordon Kihalangwa in a sworn affidavit told the court that Miguna Miguna is a Canadian political refugee and had acquired a Kenyan passport illegally in 2009 .
