Manchester,ENGLAND: Alexis Sanchez scored his first goal for Manchester United against Huddersfield on Saturday.
Sanchez converted a penalty in the 68th minute after he was fouled by Michael Hefele.
The forward saw his low shot saved by Jonas Lossl, but made no mistake with the rebound to double United’s lead on his home debut.
Romelu Lukaku opened the scores for United in the 55th minute following a brilliant left wing cross from Juan Mata.
With Premier League leaders Manchester City drawing with Burnley in the early kick-off, second-placed United narrowed the gap to 13 points.
