Mombasa,KENYA:A 21-year old man has been stabbed to death in Likoni ferry ,Mombasa over a debt of sh 10.
The young man identified only by one name,Mike died of excessive bleeding in his chest and neck wounds inflicted upon him by three suspects.
Police said the young man had eaten in a food Kiosk and failed to pay sh 10.
Police have also arrested two suspects linked to the incident.
Likoni police chief Benjamin Rotich told Baraka FM on phone that the deceased had eaten the food and after finishing he told the owner of the kiosk he didn’t have any money to clear the debt.
He said two people from the kiosk stabbed him several times in a range killing him on the spot.
“After the man failed to pay the money they engaged in a verbal exchange before the fight turned physical ,”said the police boss.
He said the body was moved to coast general hospital mortuary.
