The widow of former Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa, Yvonne Wamalwa is dead.
According to reports, Mrs. Wamalwa died at her sister’s home in Nanyuki on Thursday morning.
The family is currently making arrangements to airlift her body to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.
Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has confirmed the news.
Yvonne served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Kenya to the United Nations Habitat after the death of her husband, Wamalwa Kijana in 2003.
She is survived by two children – Derric Mboya and Michelle Chichi.
