Nicki Minaj has reportedly separated from rapper and record label Mogul boyfriend Nas months after it was reported that the two were having a fling.
According to sources close to the couple, their busy schedules and they living in different towns were the prime causes of the breakup.
The couple who referred to themselves as the King and Queen of Queens which is a neighborhood in New York where they both grew up sparked dating rumors in July 2017 after Nicki shared a photo of herself and the 44-year-old rapper captioning it.
“Only King recognize Queens”
Later in an interview with The Ellen Degenres show, Nicki stated that putting up a celibacy rule for the year, she would make an exception for Nas as he is an awesome guy.
Neither Nas nor Nicki confirmed nor denied the dating rumors and instead they were spotted getting cozy at Nas’s 44th Birthday in New York later in the year.

Before dating Nas, Nicki dated fellow rapper Meek Mill while Nas was married to Milkshake singer from 2005 to 2010.
