President to prioritize security,healthcare ,Agriculture in 2018

Nairobi,KENYA:President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to tackle insecurity, agricultural and health care issues affecting the country in the incoming 2018 new year.

In his New Year message from State House Nairobi on Sunday night, the Head of State said that the government will prioritize four agendas in his government which include food security, affordable housing, improvement of the manufacturing sector and affordable healthcare .

He said that following the fact that security has improved in the
country his government will enhance measures to stabilize it so as to make sure that Kenyans live and thrive in a secure nation.

“The impact of crime in the daily lives of Kenyans has dropped due to the sharp increase in the number of police officers whose
equipment is enhanced. There is a long way to go in securing Kenya and every Kenyan, but we are on an upward climb that will make our country more secure month by month.”The head of state said.

He said that formulation of his new cabinet is on course and will
be unveiled in due course.

“In the next few weeks, I will unveil the men and women to whom I will entrust delivery of the Big Four, and other programmes that will transform this country,” The president President said.
