Mysterious ‘Eye witness’ denied bail by Kwale court

Kwale,KENYA:The Kwale law courts on Monday denied the mysterious ‘eye witness’ a bond of fifty thousands after being charged with  giving false identification and absconding court.

Dennis Muigai Ngengi who was arrested last week after claiming to have witnessed the accident that claimed the life of Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru and a chopper crash in Lake Nakuru which claimed five lives  was produced in court over a 2015 offence.

Dennis Muigai Jomo gave false identification information to police offices in order to evade arrest after he flouted traffic rules in April 2015.

According to court documents seen by Baraka FM, the accused identified himself to inpector Loloibon as Captain Dennis Muigai Jomo who operates at the Moi air base in Nairobi.
The accused was then released on a sh 50,000 bond and expected to honor court hearings which he didn’t until today.

He is now being held at Migingo prison in Kwale despite asking the court to allow him to go for medical check up in London where he was previously treated of his leg.

He will be held until 8th ,January 2018 when will appear in court for hearing of his case.
