Chebukati launches verification exercise of forms 34A, 34B at Bomas

Nairobi, KENYA: Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chair Wafula Chebukati has launched the verification exercise of forms 34A and 34 B after the completion of a repeat of October 26th polls.

In a media briefing on Friday , at the Bomas of Kenya IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati said that the commission is receiving the forms A and through Kiems Kit at the Bomas of Kenya.

He said that the commission has received a total of 37,045 forms 34A from different stations.

He indicated that the results will be announced as per given constituency.

He however urged Kenyans to be patient indicating that the verification exercise might take long.

He pointed that the commission has received the results of 15 constituencies including Mathare ,Dagoretti south,Kajiado Nambale Mwingi west, Embakasi North Kajiado South,Kajiado Central ,Roysambu, Bomet East ,Kandara and Mwingi West.

Foreign envoys including the US ambassador to Kenya Robert Godecc were on Friday present at Bomas during the verification exercise.
