Nairobi, KENYA: Ronald Omino has won the accolade of the Kenyan Premier League KPL coach of the month for June and July.
Omino, then the head coach of Western Stima guided the club to famous victories over AFC Leopards and Tusker FC plus managing a point away at Bandari FC.
Their sole defeat during that period came at the hands of struggling Muhoroni Youth but that did not prevent the organizers from recognizing the veteran tactician.
Omino who beat Bandari FC’s coach Paul Nkata to claim the gong, now becomes the fourth winner of the monthly award this season and has since been feted with Sh.75,000.
He is currently the technical director of Western Stima FC with Ugandan Richard Makumbi replacing him as the head coach.
