Mombasa,KENYA: Detectives in Mombasa Saturday launched investigations into the murder of another Swiss national.

Police believed Mocer Max was killed and his body dumped into the Indian Ocean by unknown assailants.

Regional police chief  Larry Kieng said detectives have launched investigations  into the latest killing of foreigners that has sparked tension in the county.

“The body of the deceased had deep head injuries, we suspect he was killed and body dumped in the ocean. “said Kieng.

Mr Max had lived in the country for over 10 years within Mtwapa area, added police boss.

The body was moved to Pandya hospital for postmortem examination.

The incident comes barely a month after another  Swiss couple was murdered and their bodies dumped by the roadside  in Kiembeni Mombasa

Werner Borner Paul and Marrianne Borner landed at Moi International Airport on the night of August 20 and were accosted as they entered their compound by people suspected to be workers.

Prime suspect Geoffrey Mwaki alias Jeff, 38, was arrested on August 21  and charged with murder
