Nairobi,KENYA:President Uhuru Kenyatta has accepted a decision by the highest court in the country nullifying his re-election.

In an address statehouse Nairobi, Uhuru said that they were ready  for fresh campaigns.

“We are ready to go back with the same agenda which is an agenda of unifying this country” uhuru said.

The supreme court earlier nullified the results of an August 8th election where he was declared the winner after garnering 54% of the votes against his closest competitor NASA leader Raila Odinga’s 44%.

However Kenyatta’s Jubilee alliance party scooped majority of the gubernatorial, senatorial and parliament seats a statement used by Uhuru to say the election was free and fair.

Uhuru’s sentiments comes a few minutes after the IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati said they would hire fresh people to work on the presidential re-election and investigate and  prosecute any of its officers found guilty of electoral misconduct.

Despite the acceptance Uhuru appeared to mock the decision by the 6 judge bench .

“A few people , 6 of them cannot change the will of Kenyans” Uhuru said.

Kenyans are expected to go to the ballot in 60 days.
