Jomvu MP denies plotting to sabotage SGR

Mombasa,KENYA:Jomvu MP Badi Twalib has denied inciting goons who have an intention of sabotaging services at the SGR station in Miritini.

Twalib who was speaking to members  of of the media on Monday evening accused the Regional coordinator of the coast region of targeting politicians who were allied to the Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho with allegations of incitement.

“Anyone who is allied to Mombasa governor automatically turns to be a threat to him.” Twalib said.

“I am ready to clear myself but I urge Marwa to stop his baseless allegations.”Twalib added.

Earlier on Monday, Marwa accused Twalib of funding and coordinating goons who are intending on disrupting services at the SGR station in Miritini by causing chaos.

Marwa further alleged that Twalib had held several meetings with the said goons in Miritini area over the past few weeks.

Marwa also mentioned two individuals going by monikers ‘Rambo’ and ‘Captain’ who are said to be intending to cause chaos in Mombasa .

Both Rambo and Captain accompanied Twalib to the briefing and denied being involved in plotting to disrupt the peace in Mombasa instead  accusing  Marwa of sidelining hardline NASA supporters in Mombasa by making grave accusations at them.

Rambo who is said to be operating in Nyali constituency blamed investigative journalist and Nyali constituency independent candidate Mohamed Ali on his woes saying that Ali is a project of Marwa.
