Lamu,KENYA:4 police officers are among 8 people killed in a suspected terror attack in Lamu on Tuesday.
4 others were children and the attack happened in when the lorry they were using to escort the school children back to Kiunga from Mararani hit an IED device rolling severally.
Police sources say the children had travelled home for Idd celebrations.
Most PSV in the area escorted by police officers since the area started experiencing attacks linked to Alshabaab militants in 2014 .
So far no group has claimed responsibility and the attack comes just a month after another attack claimed the lives of 5 police officers in the same county.
