Garissa, KENYA: Four people were on Tuesday afternoon killed after the vehicle they were travelling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Device in Garissa County.
North Eastern Regional Commissioner Mohamud Saleh said the incident happened in border town of Kulan in Garissa County.
“We have four people dead from the incident that occurred between Dadaab and Doble,” Said Mohamud Swale
A vehicle belonging ADESO, a non-governmental organisation working in Somalia, is reported to have ran over the explosive device.
Witnesses say the workers were going to their offices in Dobley, when the they met their deaths at 2.30pm.
This incident comes just after 5 police officers and 1 civillian were recently killed in an IED attack in Lamu.
