Zari’s late ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga’s body arrived in his native home country Uganda where he is set to be laid to rest on Tuesday.
Many have eulogized Ivan as a generous and fun loving man and talked of the moments they shared with the late Tycoon .
Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has a lot of memories with the late tycoon and has revealed that the late tycoon treated him like a king when he was nominated for the MTV MAMA awards in 2015.
In an interview with NTV Uganda on Sunday where he had gone to receive the late Ivans body at the Entebbe airport, Chameleone said that at one time Ivan called him and promised to book him a presidential suite while in South Africa and also get posh vehicles to drive him around which he did.

“He called me and told me chameleone I heard you are coming to South Africa, so am booking you a presidential suite,am getting you cars to move you around and I will take care of you ”Chameleone said.
In February, the deceased appeared on the front page of South African tabloid paper ‘The Sun’ after he gave over 100 needy South African women 400 rand each which is equivalent of sh 3200 with the paper captioning the photo:
“The mystery man is happy to bless the needy,”
Ivan is set to be laid to rest on Tuesday in a funeral expected to be attended by high profile celebrities in Uganda who include Tanzanian hit maker Diamond Platnumz.
