Mombasa,KENYA:Wiper Democratic Movement Secretary General Hassan Omar has urged national assembly minority leader Francis Nyenze to have trust that NASA coalition will be a constitutional government that will serve with  justice and fairness to every Kenyan.

“Am urging Nyenze publicly, that its time that we build  the NASA coalition, I do appreciate your concern that you wanted a Kamba president but we were not looking for that we were looking for the president of republic of Kenya. You can be sure that NASA government cannot be of four ethnic groups but rather a government of all Kenyans”. He said.

“ Let us not make appear like we are fronting ethnic chieftaincy even those of us who wanted a Kalonzo presidency, it is  not because we wanted the presidency in Ukambani but it’s because we wanted the presidency to be a symbol of national unity for all Kenyans. If it’s not Kalonzo’s moment in 2017, am certain that it will be Kalonzo’s moment in 2022”.He added .

Speaking to press in his office in Renaissance building in Mombasa, Senator Omar further urged NASA supporters in different parts of the country to fully support the coalition so as to kick out the leadership of Jubilee come this year’s August 8th general election.

“Trust  what we did, Raila might have secured the presidency as a NASA presidential ticket but Wiper secured Kenya. The ultimate sacrifice that Wiper made, that made the NASA agreement possible and we should be proud of that. We should support the party leader and the party so as we move forward.

On primaries, Omar observed that they do not have any intention of issuing a direct nomination to Wavinya Ndeti in the Machakos county gubernatorial race saying that it will be dealt with this Sunday decisively.

“The Machakos gubernatorial primaries are going on now, there are two candidates participation, that is honorable Wavinya Ndeti and honorable Bernard Kiala and the commitment of the party is we shall embrace any candidate who shall emerge the winner of that particular primaries”. He said
