Kenyan Bank recognized among worlds top 5 socially devoted brands


Nairobi,KENYA:Equity bank has been recognized among the worlds top 5 most devoted brands .

This is according to a report released by social bakes which is the worlds leading social media analyzer for a survey conducted in 2016.

The bank got a 98% response rate on Facebook and 77% response rate on twitter.

Commenting on the latest ranks, the Bank C.E.O Dr James Mwangi said social media had become an essential tool of communicating.

“Social Media has grown from being a mere digital channel for “socializing” to one of the most powerful digital marketing tools for brands. It has also proven to be a very cost-effective way of communicating to a global audience,” Dr Mwangi said.

The bank which has a customer base exceeding 6 million across 6 African countries has been investing heavily in digital and social communication so as to improve on its customer interaction.
