Nairobi, KENYA: President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled his cabinet , a move that has seen health Principal Secretary Nicholas Muraguri moved to the ministry of Lands.
He has been replaced by Industry and Enterprise Development PS Julius Korir.
According to a Statement from statehouse through spokesperson Manoah Esipisu on Friday, the changes were made to enhance teamwork and to improve the accountability for results in the execution of the Government’s responsibilities.
The statement continues to say that the “move to improve the efficiency of public service delivery to Kenyans”.
Principal Secretary for Defence with Peter Kaberia has been moved to the Sports ministry, Principal Secretary for Devolution Mwanamaka Mabruki has been moved to Gender Affairs ministry, Principal Secretary Zeinab Hussein has been reshuffled from Gender Affairs to Irrigation ministry.
While Principal Secretary Patrick Mwangi has been moved to Industry and Enterprise from of irrigation ministry.
The reshuffle has affected twelve Principal Secretaries.
