Prisons arrest Police to revive quarters hope

Nairobi, KENYA: Kenyan representatives at the ongoing men’s Africa Club Volleyball Championship in Tunisia, Kenya Prisons team revived its quarter final hopes by securing a 3-0 (25-13, 25-9 and 25-23) win over Benin’s Police Monday night.

The victory is Prison’s first in its group which comprises of four teams, having had lost with a similar sets to hosts Etoile Du Sahel in their opening match on Saturday.

Prisons will take to court on Tuesday to face off with DR Congo’s Espoir in a decisive match that will see the winner book quarter finals slot.

Just like Prisons, the Congolese too are on one win from the opening two matches thus some fireworks are in the offing once the two sides spike to kick off the clash.
