Kenya pairs giants South Africa and England in Sydney Sevens

Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya’s Shujaa has been pooled alongside series log leaders South Africa, England and Japan in Pool A of the Sydney Sevens slated for February 4 in Australia.

This is the second time in a span of one week that Kenya will be facing England after losing to the latter 31-12 in the Wellington Sevens last weekend in another group match.

Kenya bagged eight points at Wellington by claiming Challenge trophy following a 19-17 win over Australia to remain 10th in the standings on 25 points, same with eighth and ninth placed Australia and Argentina.

South Africa leads with 63 points followed by Fiji and England on 51 and 49 points respectively after three legs of the series.
