Nairobi, KENYA: Majority leader Aden Duale wants opposition chief Raila Odinga to table evidence which links National Intelligence Service with Voter registration interference .

In a press briefing at parliamentary buildings on Thursday, Duale blasted Odinga over the allegations urging him to table evidence before the parliamentary defence committee for probe.

“Raila Odinga should provide the lists of NIS ,he must tell who are these NIS officers ,which BVR kits ,which regions, we want to see Uganda’s life ,Ethiopia’s life ,we challenge Raila to Come even to parliament committee of defense and national security “Duale said.

He termed Odinga’s statement as mere propaganda aimed at tarnishing Jubilee administration image after sensing defeat in the August polls.

The majority leader blamed Raila for discrediting IEBC, distracting it from executing its mandate; a trend he said that is not healthy in an electioneering year for the country.

“Raila and his team have started discrediting IEBC ,Isaack Hassan has left and now they have started discrediting the secretariat ,”Duale said.

Odinga in a statement to news rooms on Tuesday alleged that NIS is interfering with the current voter registration involving taking BVR kits across Kenyan borders into Uganda and Ethiopia and assisting citizens of the two countries to register in a Kenyan election process.
