Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya Premier League club Chemelil Sugar FC has appointed Abdallah Juma as their new head coach on a one year contract.

Juma succeeds Francis Baraza who ditched the Millers for newly crowned champions Tusker FC on assistant coach capacity.

A statement from the club’s hierarchy on Friday discloses that the tactician has been tasked with steering the team to better performance next campaign.

Abdallah has vast experience concerning the local league having previously coached other Kenyan clubs AFC Leopards, bankers KCB and second tier side Bidco United.

Under the custodian of Baraza, Chemelil Sugar had a spectacular season last term where they finished fifth in the league standings, one point behind third placed Ulinzi Stars.
