Joho accompanies Raila to Ghana for President elect Akufo’s inauguration

Nairobi, KENYA: Opposition leader Raila Odinga has traveled to Ghana to attend the inauguration ceremony of Ghana’s new president-elect Nana Akufo Addo.

President Akofu Addo will be officially sworn in this Saturday as the fifth president of Ghana, in the country’s capital Accra.

Raila was accompanied by his ODM deputy party leader who is also Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho and is scheduled to meet with government officials of the country.

This comes after Governor Joho made headlines on Thursday after criticizing the Jubilee government; claiming it’s hijacking projects of the former coalition government to gain political mileage.

In his message to the incumbent president John Dramani,Raila Congratulated him for his adherence to democratic principles and providing leadership not just to Ghanaians, but to the continent at large.

“His gracious hand over is an example to all on the sovereignty of the will of the people,” posted Raila on his Facebook page.
