105 people have tested positive for COVID-19 out of a sample size of 3,573 tested in the last 24 hours.

A statement from the ministry of health, states that the total confirmed positive cases are now 104,306.

Of the cases, 88 are Kenyans while 17 are foreigners. 72 are males and 33 are females. The youngest is an eleven-year-old child while the oldest is 82.

Nairobi leads in positive cases 68, Kiambu 12, Laikipia 5, Kajiado 4, Mombasa 3, Machakos 3, Nakuru 2, Nyeri 2, Uasin Gishu 2, Kericho 1, Kisumu 1, Kwale 1 and Mandera 1.

However, 49 patients have recovered from the disease, 34 from the Home-Based and Isolation Care while 15 are from various health facilities. Total recoveries now stand at 85,626.

Four patients have succumbed to the disease pushing our cumulative fatalities to 1,827, according to MOH.
