Police are in pursuit of a driver and conductor of a matatu where a woman was allegedly pushed out of while in motion.
According to the police, the vehicle registration number KCZ 729C has been detained in Wanguru Police Station in Mwea, but the driver and conductor are still at large.
“Our attention has been brought to an unfortunate incident where a lady was allegedly pushed out of a moving vehicle in Juja. We assure you that action will be taken against the culprits involved,” said the police.
Judy Wanjiku, who worked at Equity Bank, Ruiru branch, died after allegedly being pushed out of a moving bus on Saturday at around 6:30 pm.
The bus is registered under MEMBA Sacco.
