Kenyan Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong’o took to social media to show us her dancing skills in the ongoing #jorochallenge and netizens were not disappointed.
Like the true African she is, Lupita balanced a grapefruit on her head while whining her waist to Wizkid’s ‘joro’ song.
In the video, the Oscar award winner seems composed as her waist, adorned in beads moves to the beats of the music.
“Very late to the party but I brought my juice,” captioned the video.
The challenge has women, mostly African, whining their waists while balancing an object of choice on their heads.
The post has so far garnered over 1.6 million views on TikTok with over 12,000 comments from netizens who were awestruck.
Her fellow celebrities like Viola Davis, Penelope Cruz, Gabby Sidibe and musician Ciara, who is also a great dancer were also not left behind in the comments.
Even our own Brand Kenya International Ambassador Naomi Campbell commented on the video with a ‘FIYAH’ followed by seven fire emojis.
