The Director of Public Prosecution has approved murder and assault charges against Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.
According to the director of public prosecution Jumwa and her bodyguard Geoffrey Otieno will be charged with the murder of a 48 years old Gumbao Jola.
Mombasa DPP’s head Alloys Kemo confirmed that the two will be charged over October last year shooting at Ganda ward that left one person dead and several injured.
Michael Ngumbao Jola, the late uncle of Ganda ward Member of County Assembly Reuben Katana Mwamure was shot dead by an unknown person in presence of the police and elected leaders two days before the highly contested Ganda ward mini polls.
