Kenya’s hopes of producing the Big brother Naija reality show winner this year were dropped on Sunday after the Nigerian-Kenyan Contestant Wathoni left the show.

Wathoni who received the third-lowest number of votes was among three contestants who left the reality show on Sunday.

The mother of one had earlier in the week indicated she was feeling homesick before she started getting cozy with fellow housemate Ezekiel Bright “Brighto” Osemudiame who is a 29-year-old sailor from Edo State.

The eviction show also saw Wathoni’s boyfriend Brighto and Nigerian artiste Tolanibaj sent home.

However, it is not yet clear if Brighto and Wathoni will continue with their relationship outside the house.

This is after the 29-year sailor termed Wathoni as a distraction during his farewell speech.

The Sunday show saw the show organizers revert to the old system of eviction where housemates will be nominating contestants up for eviction and the viewers can save their favorite.

The 29-year-old Wathoni had survived eviction twice in the past two weeks.

According to her Bio, Wathoni was born in Karatina in Nyeri County to a Kenyan mother and Nigerian father before moving to Nigeria when she was 14 years.

Wathoni whose full names are Florence Wathoni Anyasi has in the past said that she speaks fluent Swahili.

The show which caved from the continental reality show Big Brother Africa is in its fifth season and follows the lives of 20 contestants picked from diverse backgrounds and places to live together in a house with live tv camera’s running 24/7.

Big Brother Africa is no longer airing after it was scrapped off in 2014 with the organizers citing lack of sponsors.

Before it was scrapped off, the Big Brother Africa produced winners such as Tanzanian Comedian Idris Sultan, Namibian beauty queen Dillish Mathews while Kenyan artiste Prezzo once finished second last.
