Nominated Senator, Priscila Zawadi Kitsao, who was involved in a road accident along Mombasa Nairobi highway has been discharged from hospital.
Makueni Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan said that senator Zawadi suffered injuries on the chest after her car, a Toyota Prado collided with another car in the Malili area within Makueni County.
The senator who hails from Kilifi County was rushed to Machakos Level V Hospital and discharged after treatment.
Napeiyan said that she was discharged on Thursday morning in good health.
Police towed the two vehicles to the Salama Police Station pending the completion of investigations.
