According to her Bio, Wathoni was born in Karatina in Nyeri County to a Kenyan mother and Nigerian father before moving to Nigeria when she was 14 years.

According to the Kenyan constitution, a child born to one parent who has Kenyan citizenship automatically becomes a Kenyan citizen.

Speaking last week, Wathoni confirmed she is a dual citizen who can speak fluent Swahili.

Wathoni who has been deputy head of the house has already proven to be quite a contestant to watch out after bringing some drama to the house after Ka3na started fighting her last week accusing her of mispronouncing her name.
