The body of a man who died after their boat capsized in Ganahola area of Mikindani, Mombasa county on Friday night has been recovered.
The body was recovered by fishermen Sunday morning as they were going about their duties.
Keya navy divers abandoned the search on Saturday a few hours after they were called to the scene.
The ill-fated boat was ferrying 10 people crossing from Mikindani to Rabai before the incident happened.
Mikindani MCA, Renson Thoya said 9 people were rescued by locals on the same night.
The deceased will be buried today at his home in Voroni-Rabai, according to a family member.
“We are going to bury him today because his body is in a very bad state’, he added.
