Kenyan Hollywood star Lupita Nyongo got to enjoy the wonders of Lamu Island last week.

The star who voiced a six part series on the Serengeti national park that is airing on Discovery channel was photographed enjoying a boatride in Lamu on 14th August.

The star who often sneaks in quietly whenever she visits Kenya was also spotted hanging out with Humanitarian and safari doctors founder Umra Omar.

It is not yet clear if the star who is running several philanthropic projects on conservation in Kenya was in the county for a philanthropic project or purely on holiday purposes.

This is not the first time that the US star has sneaked into the country quietly.

In December the star spent over a week at her ancestral home in Ratta village in Kisumu.

According to a local publication, her visit was kept a secret since it was a family affair.

Lupita becomes the third star to spend her holiday in the coastal part of Kenya in less than an year.

In November, British supermodel Naomi Campbell spent a few weeks at the Billionaire resort in Malindi for a photo shoot while Manchester United star Marcus Rashford spent time at the Kenyan coast in July 2018
