Antananarivo,MADAGASCAR: AFC Leopards journey in the 2018 CAF Confederation cup were halted on Wednesday despite holding hosts FOSA Juniors 0-0 in their return leg match played in Mahajanga, Madagascar.
Leopards needed a win or a draw with a margin of more than two goals to proceed to the next round after playing out to a one all draw in the first leg played in Bukhungu stadium, Kakamega county a fortnight ago.
The result sees FOSA Juniors qualify for the next round of the preliminary phase of the championship on away goal rule.
