Mombasa,KENYA: A group of Nasa supporters from Mombasa who attended the controversial swearing in of opposition leader Raila Odinga, almost exchanged blows over payment of “Transport and other allowances”.

The scuffle occurred outside the Mombasa county Assembly buildings on Wednesday afternoon.

This was after some of the members accused others of demanding to be paid yet they did not show up for the event at Uhuru Park.

A spokesperson of the group who sought anonymity, said some people in the group were sent by people she says are jubilee moles to monitor their moves.

“Some of the people here are not truly Nasa supporters. They are just moles sent by Jubilee to sabotage our plans and monitor our moves”, said the chairperson.

The chairperson, who is a very vocal person and a die hard fan of Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, says do not even know what we went through on the way to Nairobi.

“Some of the guys who want to be paid cannot even tell what unfolded. The police harassment along the way, tribulations and what have you, yet they want to be paid”, she added.

A man who identified himself as the chairman, intervened to save the situation.
