Mombasa, KENYA: The 2016 Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC have confirmed the signing of striker Edwin Lavatsa from their league rivals Bandari FC.

Lavatsa who previously featured for the current champions Gor Mahia and Mathare United has signed a three-year contract with the Brewers.

During his two years stint with the Dockers, Lavatsa helped Bandari to win the Go Tv Shield title in 2016 under the then head Coach Twahir Muhiddin.

At Tusker he is expected to fill the void left by veteran striker Allan Wanga who joined Kakamega Homeboyz after being offloaded by the Ruaraka based club.

Meanwhile, he becomes the second high profile player to ditch Bandari this transfer window following the footsteps of Andrew Waiswa who switched allegiance to AFC Leopards.
