Tanzanian songstress Vanessa Mdee has landed a deal with the international record label Universal Music group which works with a huge percentage of American and international artistes.
Through her social media pages, Mdee made the revelation over the weekend saying she was excited to be the first artiste to land such a deal in Africa.

Nimeona nitumie fursa hii wapendwa mashabiki zangu mwanzoni mwa mwaka huu nilipitia changamoto nyingi sana, lakini kwa neema za Mungu nilitoka mahali pale na sio kuona baraka tu bali na maajabu mengi yaliyotokea kwenye maisha yangu. Mdee has not yet revealed the value of the deal but the record has in the past worked with high flying artistes such as Kanye West,Arianna Grande,Lil Wayne and Belgium-Rwandese singer Stromae,Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.
The revelation just comes just a few days after Mdee posted photo’s hinting that she had gotten back with her exboyfriend Jux.
