The search and raid had been planned several weeks ago by three top security officials in the sub county.

“Junior officers had no information on the raid as they have been suspected to be tipping off the suspect whenever the raid is about to be staged,” an officer said.

“We have enough intelligence report the suspect had been engaging in the illegal drug trade”.said DCI Henry Ndombi.

His father’s home was also raided but police did not find any substance.

Meanwhile, police in the area are grilling a man over the recovery of bullets at his house.
