Nairobi,KENYA:The independent electoral boundaries commission on Tuesday granted presidential candidates, observers and party agents access to the server which was transmitting the October 26th poll presidential results.
In a statement, the IEBC says the data that would only be accessible would be that from October 26th to the day the results were declared.
“The commission has provided acess rights to presidential candidates, agents and observers who made requests;to the results transmission server from the day of the elections 26/10/17 till the results were declared” the commission said in a statement.
The IEBC was says it will make the server accessible to other parties upon request.
Earlier,Thirdway alliance presidential candidate conceded defeat to president Uhuru Kenyatta urging him to unite the nation.
