Nairobi,KENYA:National Super Alliance legislators have given president Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration 24 hours  to reinstate security detail attached to Opposition chief Raila Odinga and his counterpart Kalonzo Musoka whom their security  has been withdrawn.

In a media briefing at Orange Democratic Party ,ODM  headquarters in Nairobi on Tuesday led by ODM chair John Mbadi said that the government must reinstate the officers attached to the two principals in a span of 24 or else they face mass action.

They vehemently condemned President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto against taking such action  warning that removing security details of such leaders the state is setting a dangerous precedence in the country.

“We therefore give the state ,24 hours to return our leaders security or face mass action. This is not negotiable .”Mbadi said.

They vowed to continue with demonstrations which are planned today in bid to remove IEBC Chief Executive officer Ezra Chiloba and other top IEBC officers whom they accuse of bungling the past elections.

Mbadi accused Gatundu South legislator of clandestinely orchestrating people to disrupt the NASA demonstrations scheduled to take place on Tuesday ,extending accusations to directorate of criminal investigation director Ndegwa Muhoro and Nairobi county commander Japheth Koome for failing to take action against Kuria.

The legislators urged the police service to accord them with security as they demonstrate to the IEBC headquarters at Anniversary towers ,Nairobi.
