Nairobi,KENYA:Security has been beefed up in and outside the supreme courts as Kenyans await the supreme court ruling on the presidential election petition.

General Service unit (GSU), Administration Police (AP) and regular police are alert around the Supreme Court just to ensure there is total calmness.

As it was during the hearings, all roads leading to the Supreme Court are barricaded forcing pedestrian and Matatus to alternative ways.

On the other hand, a group of women from Orange Democratic Movement led by the Women representative for Homa Bay ,Gladys Wanga and Member of Parliament for Mbita Millie Odhiambo marched to the supreme court to pray for the ruling

They said they are hopeful that the verdict will favor their opposition leader Raila Odinga and that the  truth for once will prevail
