Manchester, ENGLAND: Kyle Walker and Morgan Schneiderlin both saw red as Manchester City and Everton settle for a one all draw in a highly tempered English Premier League match played Monday night.

England captain Wayne Rooney put Everton in the lead with his 35th minute strike, his 200th Premier League goal before Manchester City were reduced to 10-men after Kyle Walker was sent off for two yellow cards before half-time.

Everton also finished with 10 men when midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin was red-carded for a second bookable offense, six minutes after Raheem Sterling had levelled for the hosts.

With two matches into the Premier League season, high-flying Manchester United sits at the apex on six points, followed by Huddersfield and West Brom both with six points but on a superior goal differences.

Manchester City are fifth after collecting four points while Arsenal and the reigning champions Chelsea, both who have lost one match, occupy positions 11 and 12 respectively.
