AFC Leopards coasted past Bidco United 2-1 in the rescheduled match hosted at Thika stadium on Wednesday to qualify for the quarter finals of the GOTV Shield tournament.

Goals in either half from Samuel Ndung’u and substitute Keziron Kizito eased Leopards past the second division tier side, who got their consolation through David Juma’s late strike.

The victory is Leopard’s second on the back since Robert Martano was appointed as the head coach earlier this month to lead the club after registering a below the par performance from the onset of the season.

Ingwe will yet again meet another National Super League side, Wazito FC of the University of Nairobi in the last eight of the knockout tournament.

Meanwhile, Kenyan Premier League KPL return to action this weekend after taking a short break last week to pave ways for the Gotv Shield matches.

Eighth placed Bandari FC begins point hunt away at Awendo Green stadium against hosts Sony Sugar FC.
