Over the past few months, Fans of Diamond platinumz have gotten used to him rocking dreadlocks his head.
Well it seems the Salome hit maker may have changed his hairstyle because of a heartbreak.
The singer who went back his old hairstyle on Thursday after cutting off his dreadlocks hinted on his Instagram page that his dreadlocks hairstyle and his most of his songs may have been inspired by a heartbreak.
“Had to change my hairstyle today… taking you to the Old Platnumz… Ready for my Heart Broken Hits!!!!!.” Wrote the hit maker on Instagram.
Well if you recall most of the hit singles put him in the limelight including Mbagala, Kamwambie and Ntampata wapi were about men heartbroken by ladies who left them for material possessions.
Last year fellow artiste at Wasafi records and close friend Harmonize revealed in an interview with Kings radio in Tanzania that most of Diamond Platinumz songs about heartbreaks had been inspired by his ex known as Sarah.
“Mimi naamini kabisa, hata mimi mwenywe nilivyomuuliza ‘kwani ulimuimbia nani kamwambie?’ akasema mimi nikitaka kuandika nyimbo yoyote ya mapenzi namkumbuka Sarah mwanamke ambaye nilimpenda sana” (I am very sure because when I asked him who inspired Nani kamwambie he responded that every time he wants to write a song about love he remembers a lady named Sarah whom he loved so much) Harmonize had told the radio station.
However the singer is currently in a relationship with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and they have two children.
Well could the singer still not yet gotten over Sarah?
