We want IEBC to conduct free and fair elections,KADU Asili leaders

Mombasa,KENYA:KADU Asili national leaders want the Independent electoral and boundaries Commission IEBC to ensure that the August elections will be free and fair.

Addressing journalists in Mombasa on Thursday Kadu Asili national chairman Kombora Joshua warned that in case the elections will not be fair the party officials will go to the courts to seek justice.

“We are giving this warning to IEBC that in case the elections will not be free and fair we shall match towards the courts to seek justice.” Komora said.

The official said that the party has officially been registered like any other party and noted that it has a national outlook.

He insisted on the need to have a peaceful and a just transition period among Kenyans as the country heads towards the August polls.

“We need a peaceful and just transition period as Kenyans as we head towards the electioneering period.”  The official added.

On the other hand, the party’s Kilifi gubernatorial aspirant Kazungu Kambi dismissed allegations that the party forced Kaloleni legislator out of the party and stressed that the party is guided by democratic principles.

“We did not force Gunga out of Kadu asili.” He uttered.

He said the party is ready to face other political parties in the August polls and called upon its aspirants to ensure that they conduct fair party primaries.

“As KADU asili we ready to challenge other parties in the upcoming polls. What we need as Kadu asili are fair party nominations.” Kambi said.

Kilifi county senatorial aspirant Lucas Maitha said the Jubilee regime has totally failed Kenyans four years after seizing power it has nothing to convince Kenyans that it has no development agenda on the common man.

“I’m afraid the Jubilee administration has totally failed Kenyans four years down the line. How will they convince Kenyans for the next five years?” Maitha exclaimed.

Maitha explained that KADU Asili is the only party in the country that is grounded on tough principles headed towards development.

“It is the only party in this country that has laid down tough political principles geared towards development.” He said.

The meeting organized by KADU Asili aspirants brought together party members from all corners of the country.
