Okumbi summons 25 players for Malawi duel

Nairobi, KENYA: Harambee Stars head coach Stanley Okumbi has called up 25 local based players for the friendly match against Malawi scheduled for April 18 in Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

The match will serves as a build up to the upcoming Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) set to be held in Kenya between 11th January and 2nd February 2018.

This will be Harambee Stars’ third friendly match in span of one month having played Uganda and DR Congo in March at the same venue.

Kenya drew Uganda 1-1 before edging DR Congo 2-1, results that saw the country improved to position 78 from 88 in the FIFA Rankings released by the World governing body on Thursday.
