Aspiring MCA summoned over Likoni clashes over the weekend

Mombasa, KENYA: Police in Likoni have summoned an aspiring member of county assembly MCA following the Sunday incident where criminal gang of wajuku wa bibi slashed residents,leaving two with serious injuries.

The victims Mohammed Adam,22 and Leonard Ngoa,25.both sustained deep cuts in their heads and hands after they were slashed by the gang using machetes and knives in the 9pm incident.

The suspected aspiring MCA only identified as Chege is accused of being behind the attacks, after the gang calling itself team Chege slashed people indiscriminately after the football tournament.

“We have served him as urgent,we are still waiting for him (Chege) we believe he will shade more lights concerning the incident,said one of officer tasked to follow the matter.

Likoni police boss Willy Simba confirmed the attack of two people but said they were in stable condition.

“The two victims were treated at at Likoni district hospital and discharged.wee are looking the suspects a manhunt have been launched and we will get them
