Kilifi, KENYA: Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has called on the nation to pray for President Uhuru to overcome stress due to the recent outbursts being displayed by him.
Speaking in Kilifi at his offices on Wednesday, Kingi said the recent outbursts from the president demonstrates that he might be under some sort of stress.
“The recent outbursts demonstrates that he might be under some sort of stress. He needs prayers to overcome his stress.” Said Kingi.
This comes a day after Mombasa governor Ali Hassan was involved in a confrontation with the president over the launch of Mtongwe Ferry services.
Kingi has also called on the president to differentiate between politics and developments, a matter that he claims has led to political intolerance between leaders and supporters of both NASA and Jubilee.
Kingi who was flagged by Kilifi county ward representatives, however said he will always respect the office of the president and its holders, but asked the president to choose his words carefully.
The Kilifi governor was responding to President Kenyatta’s remarks after he called on Kingi to show any meaningful developments he has in the county.
Last week, Kingi said that Uhuru’s Malindi and Magarini tour where he launched Kilifi- Kakuyuni, Kilifi-Gongoni water project and Sabaki- Marafa road and Sara gate road; were world bank funded projects being declared as national government projects.
