Mombasa,KENYA:The daughter to Mombasa Women Representative Mishi Mboko on Saturday walked down the aisle at an undisclosed location in Mombasa.
The daughter identified as Hafidha Wakesho walked down the aisle with the love of her life identified as Tariq in a Swahili themed wedding.
The wedding was attended by several leaders from Mombasa who include the Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho the MP for Kisauni Rashid Bedzimba and entrepreneur and aspiring senator Hamisi Mwaguya.
Governor Joho took to social media to congratulate the couple wishing them a happy and a fruitful marriage.
“I congratulate Hon. Mishi Mboko and her family on the wedding of her daughter Hafidha to Mr. Tariq. I wish the newly weds a very happy and fruitful marriage as they start a new chapter in life.”Joho wrote.
Mboko who made headlines in January after it was alleged that she publicly advised women to deny men who had not registered as voters their conjugal rights is currently eyeing the Likoni parliamentary seat on an ODM party ticket.
